my name is Mogd Akmal Faiz bin harun,im is 19 year's old.i came from Kedah.my address is Kampung pong mukim padang terap kiri 06300 kuala nerang kedah.my previous school is sekolah menengah kebangsaa padang terap.i have 4 sibling and im is the last one.why ichoose ikm?because i want continue my study at ikm.ikm is the best choice for me.i come here with new target.i want to be a succesfully person for my self and my family.first choice i want take course mechathronic but i get diploma competency of welding.i dint know anything about welding.but when i try it at first time it was amazing and very fun.so that's all about my self.

behind the scene,this is my belove lecturer, Puan NorSyazia binti Mohd Radzi,she is my lecterur for english communication 1.she is very wonderful teacher and happening teacher.im so glad have a lecturer like her.she has very good attitude while teaching us.she is very good while teaching us never

unit 1 :speaking about my self

in this unit we learn how to introduce our self,its very difficult for me,because im slow in english.but its not a reason .puan gg teach us how to introduce ourself.and yeah alhamdulillah 💯 ican do it.i do everything that puan gg give us.i do a exercise .

UNIT  2 : SPEAKING ACCURATELY

AT THIS CHAPTER WE LEARN A NEW ENGLISH,BEFORE THIS WE NEVER LEARN IT.AND NOW AT IKM WE GET TO LEARN ABOUT DIPHTHONG,SILENT LETTER AND WORD STRESS. 

SO LET WE START WITH DIPHTHONG FIRST,DIPHTHONG IS

A diphthong is a sound made by combining two vowels, specifically when it starts as one vowel sound 
and goes to another, like the oy sound in oil.it has weird spelling and alphabets.it is hard whne we learn for the first time.my tounge already cramp when i try to learn

SILENT LETTER IS In English pronunciation, silent letter is an informal term for a letter of the alphabet (or a letter combination) that's usually left unpronounced, such 


as the b in subtle, the c in scissors, the g in design, the t in listen, and the gh in thought.  Also called a dummy letter.

LAST IN THIS CHAPTER,IS WE LEARN ABOUT WORD stress

WORD STRESS IS ALL WORD THAT HAVE MORE THAN ONE SYLLABLE HAVE WORD STRESS,ONE SYLLABLE IS LONGER AND LOUDER THAN THE OTHER.

UNIT 3 :PRACTICE IN PUBLIC SPEAKING

WHEN TEACHER GG TELL US THAT WE HAVE TO D A PUBLIC SPEAKING,MY 

BODY I SHAKING,IM VERY SCARED BECAUSE SERIOUSLY I TELL YOU GUYS I CANT SPEAK INFRONT ALL OF YOU,I IS VERY SHY PERSON. BUT TEACHER GG

UNIT 4 : SOCIAL COMMUNICATION PERFORMING LANGUAGE FUNCTIONS

in this unit,we learned how to apologising,asking for a clarification and giving a description.this unit is very enjoy and easy to learn

what is a apologizing?! apologizing is to apologize is to tell

 someone that you are sorry for having done something that has caused him inconvenience or unhappiness.puan GG told us to wrote one letter to one our friend.

AFTER THAT WE LEARN HOW TO ASK FOR CLARIFICATION,when you dont understand what someone said,you can ask for clarification using the following expressions, here the example :

UNIT 1 : SPEAKING ABOUT MY SELF 

IN This unit,we have learned how to intro ourselves.its not easy for shy person or silent person like me.Then Puan GG guide us how to intro ourselves by doing some activities in she class. Example like, Puan gg called a name and then we must intro ourselves to the other student.And Puan gg also  prepared some module to guide us.

Alhamdulillah ,i got use to it and i've done it.

THERE ARE MANY TYPE OF EMOTIONS ,IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO DESCRIBE ABOUT EMOTIONS.BUT WHO IS USING A WHATSAPP CAN COPY EMOJI AT WHATSAPP.I THING THIS IS REALLY FUNNY.ACTUALLY I CANT DRAW A EMOTION.BUT I MUST DO IT AND THAT IS MY RESULT.NOT BAD LAH ATLEAST I TRY.

UNIT 2 : SPEAKING ACCURATELY

  In this unit, we learn how to speaks words correctly,accurately and fluently  like the word's original sound in English slang not Malay slang. Learning this makes us more confident to say the words in front of tourist from the other countries. It is funny when we realised that we did not using the word's original sound. Let's check it out, what did we learned in this unit. 

Then in the diphthong we also learned about long A sound. It is pronounced as a long A sound into long E sound. Its also have long O sound slide into E sound and many more. Its will take some times to expert and tackle this diphthong

We also learned about word stress and it really enjoy. Word stress is all word that have more than one syllable have word stress.Then one syllable is longer and louder than the others and english words has it's own rhythm just like CHI-na and many more

 UNIT 3: PRACTICE IN PUBLIC SPEAKING

After finished unit 2 then we keep going to the next unit that is unit 3. In that unit , we learned about 'PRACTICE IN PUBLIC SPEAKING'. First we learned about debate. I found that I really interested in debate. Debate is a formal argument on a particular topic. Then ,  there are several forms of debate but all use detailed guidelines to make sure everyone has chance to voice their own opinions . We also had a debate's practice in the class. We had been divided into two groups, opposition and proposition. I had been divided into opposition team.We have debate about media social. When the debate is began the situation being so hot  and it really enjoyable section.

 We also learn language of debate. There are a lot of useful debate vocabulary. If you remember all this vocabulary surely you will be a good debater and tackle debate well.

Then we back to the topic about public speaking. We had to practice about public speaking because we have to make a performance at Dewan Al- Ghazali. There are a few tips about public speaking.

UNIT 4: SOCIAL COMMUNICATION PERFORMING LANGUAGE FUNCTIONS

I have to write my apologize letter to my friend. I write about my wrong-doing towards my friend from our first met till now . I can do a short paragraph of apologizing now . Even it is not perfect , but it is better than my old ability . I learned a lot about keep people heart in this unit.

I have 4 sibling and i the eldest.I study at INSTITUT KEMAHIRAN MARA BESERI, PERLIS.I from diploma eletrical programe. My hobby is fishing with friend. In this unit we learn about making introduction sharing personal information describing feelings and opinions

The first things that we learn in this unit is making introduction about ourselves it is hard for silent person like me .Then Puan GG guide us on how to introduce module that she prepare..

UNIT 2 : SPEAKING ACCURATELY

In this unit Puan  Syaziab or teacher GG teach us about speaking accurately .what we learn in this topics is about dipthongs language.

what is DIPHTHONGS ?

Dipthong is avowel sound in which the tongue changes position to produce the sound of two vowel.

diphthong is a single sound produce when two vowel (one dominant in duration and stress ),are paired together in a sequence.and my teacher use the song 'tears in heaven 'for we understand and enjoy about the dipthong

                                                                      

Then the subtopics is SILENT LETTERS.

Silent letters is aletter that must be included when you write the word even though you don not pronounce it.

An example :

about the silent letter i was very happy study about it because it was easy..but it is important for our future when speaking with human.

-word stress difinition is the manner in which stress are distributed on the syllable of a word.
